
Here's the bull elk. Nate hit him once in the back of the head from 200 yards on the run with a .243. The bullet entered the skull behind the left antler. The bull dropped, but on a pure adrenaline rush, he staggared back to his feet and stumbled around until Danica placed another round with the .300 win mag into the chest and ended it.
Below are pics of Nate and me removing the cape. Nate did all of the more difficult areas around the face while I did the brute work on the neck and shoulders. The home teachers stopped by and dry heaved a bit.
